Update : 11.13.12

So... I've been doing a lot of thinking this week. I've got a LOT of projects that I'm working on right now, some of them writing, others include getting myself back into shape. So, this is a balancing act. Unfortunately, I think getting into shape takes top priority, but there's no reason I can't post a little something every now and then.

I've got a pretty exciting new idea for a story, though it isn't going to be something you usually read from me. This time (and don't worry, it's still horror) I'm think I'm going to delve into just a little bit of science fiction. Not my usual type, but I'd love a new flavor, as I'm sure you all would.

I don't want to be a one-trick pony, folks. I think I can give the literary world something new and impressive once every few years. I just have to be dedicated. So, thank you for all my readers who continue to come to this site, and please continue to do so.

Also, the turkey's in the freezer and we're ready for thanksgiving. (Oh, I'm going to be working hard to get rid of this belly).

Love always,

It's starting to get a little chilly down here in Georgia. Late nights will soon involve an extra cup of piping hot tea or some joe in a mug. Sweaters, thermal socks and more numb fingers at the keyboard. This also means it is the best time of the year to write. Business and social activities start slowing down, the leaves fall and inspire thoughts in my head. Yes, it's the best time of year.

Tonight a new page goes up. ^Look above this page.^

Patient Sixty Three is my new short story, and I hope you will all enjoy it. Tonight there is only a small portion of the monster of a story that will soon be ready for willing minds. There will be more to come. Just sit tight, and let me do what I do best. And maybe this time around it'll be less than two months before I give you another update. If I don't see you soon, then have yourselves a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Hello, everyone... It's been a while. Almost two years, to be exact.

Life has gotten in the way of what I really want to do, for quite a while. A new short IS in the works and YES, I've been working on that series some of you know of. In-between jobs, broke as hell and the coffee pot running dry, I find myself with a rare opportunity. Quality time with the computer and with you, the readers. This time I'm working towards a near-future goal. The short will be up within the next couple weeks and I've got a project in the works with a great friend, W.M. DeSilva.

This project should be done by the end of the year, possibly late winter. So for you readers up in London and Switzerland, bundle up and wait for the heat to come.

It's getting cold... Too damn cold for writing, almost. My fingers freeze on the keyboard, and my feet... Well, I have to look to make sure they're still there sometimes. But it's all for you guys. The readers.

I feel like I've let you all down, but this week, things are changing : new schedules, new principles, new goals. Same method, but it's still fresh. A new short is under progress (and no, I haven't given up on the old ones, they're still in progress). Sure, I should just sit down and work on one at a time, but how am I going to enter this literary world with a BANG if I just half-ass my efforts? Suggestions? I didn't think so.

These sleepless nights will produce something worth sharing one of these days... I just need to stop writing the same stories over and over again. I vowed something new to all of you; I intend to keep that promise. You'll just have to be pissed and patient with me in the process.

It's dark outside. Dark enough to sleep, but I'm awake and alert. The rain is thrashing my window panes and I'm comfortable in my hovel behind the only light source in the room : the computer screen. The occasional slashing of the sky by something glorious and bright fills my eyes, followed by the enraged boom of its predecessor.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's a great start to a day for writing horror.

A page entitled "Stories" will go up today, but the short will not be up until later. Last week had been the intended date of upload, but some editing and formatting problems halted progress. I've found the solution now, so all I need is just a little more of your patience and you can all tell me how the new story wasn't worth the wait, after all.

Also, "The War with W.M. Desilva" is going to be a big hit. I could tell you, sure. But just wait and enjoy the show.

Love always,
